Hamilton Announces Family Day Campaign Kick Off
Mark Hamilton, Republican candidate for State House District 23, announced today that he will hold a Family Day campaign kick off on Saturday, March 25, from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm, at the Polo Fields Equestrian Center at the intersection of Polo Drive and Post Road in Cumming.
Said Hamilton, "This event marks the kick off of our campaign for State House with a focus on the reason why I am running - our families. I will be a State Representative focused on protecting the quality of life our families enjoy and delivering on the issues that matter to them. Everyone is welcome. I hope every family in Forsyth and Cherokee counties will join us for a family oriented, fun filled day at the beautiful Polo Fields Equestrian Center to enjoy grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken, along with pop corn, cotton candy and snow cones. There will be face painting, a petting zoo, a moonwalk & other fun events for the kids, while listening to blue grass music in a beautiful relaxed setting!"
US Congressman John Linder is a special invited guest and the Host Committee is co-chaired by Carter & Jamie Barrett and Lauren & Claire McDonald III. Mark Hamilton is the Founder, President & CEO of H & H Staffing Services, Inc., a staffing firm serving business throughout North Georgia, and AppliedWisdom LLC, an executive coaching and consulting firm. In 1999, H & H Staffing was named the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year. Mark spent 20 years in corporate America in a wide range of sales, management and senior management positions around the country before founding H & H Staffing in 1998 and AppliedWisdom in 2003.
Mark is also very active in our community. He currently serves as a charter Board Member of Fast Forward 400, a coalition of elected officials and business and community leaders focused on promoting improvements to the GA 400 corridor, and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Regional Business Coalition. Mark was the 2005 Forsyth County Chairman of the American Heart Association Walk. He is a member and Past-Chairman of the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, and a member and Past-President of the South Forsyth Rotary Club. Mark is a graduate and active alumnus of Leadership Forsyth.
Mark, an Engineering Business graduate of Texas A & I University, is the proud father of three daughters and one grandson. He and his wife Sandy live in Forsyth County. The Hamiltons are active members of Cumming First Baptist Church.
