Hamilton Announces Another Fundraising Success

 

Mark Hamilton, Republican candidate for State House District 23, announced today that he has raised over $56,000 in total campaign contributions for his campaign for State House. 

 

Since announcing his campaign on March 22, Hamilton has raised $50,885 in direct contributions and an additional $5,675 in in-kind contributions from 135 contributors. 

 

“This campaign is about a vision for our community and the leadership to make that vision a reality.  I am humbled by the broad support our campaign has received and the enthusiastic support from our community for the leadership I will provide in the State House.  We will continue to build a grassroots campaign and provide leadership to make Cherokee and Forsyth County proud.” 

 

Mark Hamilton is the Founder, President & CEO of H & H Staffing Services, Inc., a staffing firm serving business throughout North Georgia , and AppliedWisdom LLC, an executive coaching and consulting firm.  In 1999, H & H Staffing was named the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year.  Mark spent 20 years in corporate America in a wide range of sales, management and senior management positions around the country before founding H & H Staffing in 1998 and AppliedWisdom in 2003. 

 

Mark is also very active in our community.  He currently serves as a charter Board Member of Fast Forward 400, a coalition of elected officials and business and community leaders focused on promoting improvements to the GA 400 corridor, and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Regional Business Coalition.  Mark was the 2005 Forsyth County Chairman of the American Heart Association Walk.   He is a member and Past-Chairman of the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, and a member and Past-President of the South Forsyth Rotary Club.  Mark is a graduate and active alumnus of Leadership Forsyth.

 

Mark, an Engineering Business graduate of Texas A & I University, is the proud father of three daughters and one grandson.  He and his wife Sandy live in Forsyth County .  The Hamiltons are active members of Cumming First Baptist Church .
